Also covers adding multiple company addresses for companies with branches or multiple GST registrations. All details set here appear on documents and reports generated by Onsite.
Before You Start
- You need Admin access
- Have your company GST number and registered address ready before starting
- If you plan to upload images (logo, signature, stamp, watermark), prepare them as JPG or PNG files in advance
Where Company Details Appear
Before making changes, it helps to know where each field is used:
| Detail | Where It Appears |
|---|---|
| Company Name | Header of all PDF documents and reports |
| Company Address and GST | Address block on invoices, POs, and GRNs |
| Company Logo | Header of PDF documents (default Onsite template) |
| Signature | Footer of documents, below authorised signatory section |
| Stamp | Overlaid on documents where stamp is required |
| Watermark | Diagonal background text on all document pages |
| Primary Address | Printed on all documents by default when no branch is tagged to a project |
Part 1: Update Company Name and Phone Number
Step 1 — Go to Settings
Click Setting in the left sidebar.
Step 2 — Open Company Details
Click Company Details from the Settings menu.
Step 3 — Update Company Name
Click the Company Name field and type your company’s registered name.
Use the full legal name of your company as it should appear on invoices and official documents.
Step 4 — Update Phone Number
Click the Phone Number field and enter the company’s primary contact number.
Step 5 — Save
Click Save to apply the changes.
Part 2: Update Company Address and GST
Step 1 — Open Address
On the Company Details page, click the Company Primary Address field.
A New Address panel opens on the right side.
Step 2 — Fill in the Address Details
| Field | What to Enter |
|---|---|
| Address Heading | A label for this address (e.g. “Head Office”, “Registered Office”, “Mumbai Branch”). This label is for internal identification only and does not appear on documents. |
| GST | Your company’s GSTIN for this address. This appears on all invoices and documents linked to this address. |
| Google Address | Search your address using Google autocomplete to pin the location on the map and auto-fill fields below |
| Address Line 1 | Street address (e.g. “1, Gaur Grandeur, Sector 122”) |
| City | City name (e.g. “Noida”) |
| State / Province | State name (e.g. “Uttar Pradesh”) |
| Zip / Postal Code | PIN code (e.g. “201306”) |
| Country | Country (default: India) |
Step 3 — Save the Address
Click Save inside the address panel.
💡 If your company has multiple GST registrations across different states, add each branch as a separate address with its own GST number. You can then tag the correct branch to each project. See the Related Articles section for more on managing multiple GST numbers.
Part 3: Upload Logo, Signature, Stamp, and Watermark
All four image uploads are on the right side of the Company Details page. Each upload saves automatically when you select the file.
Logo
Find the Your Logo section and click Upload Logo.
Select your logo image file.
Recommendations:
- Use a PNG file with a transparent background for the cleanest result on PDFs
- Use a high-resolution file (minimum 300 x 300 pixels) to avoid pixelation on printed documents
- The logo appears in the header of all PDF documents when using the default Onsite template
Signature
Find the Your Signature section and click Upload Signature.
Select your signature image file.
Recommendations:
- Scan or photograph the authorised signatory’s signature on white paper
- Crop the image tightly around the signature
- Save as PNG with a white or transparent background
Stamp
Find the Stamp section and click Upload Stamp.
Select your company stamp image file.
Recommendations:
- Photograph or scan the company rubber stamp on white paper
- Crop closely around the stamp
- PNG format works best for preserving stamp text and border clarity
Watermark
Find the Watermark section and click Upload Watermark.
Select your watermark image file.
The watermark appears as a diagonal background image across all document pages.
Recommendations:
- Use a light, low-opacity version of your company name or logo
- PNG with transparency works best so the document content behind the watermark remains readable
Part 4: Add Multiple Company Addresses
Use this when your company operates from more than one location or has multiple GST registrations for different states or branches.
Step 1 — Go to Company Details
Go to Setting, then click Company Details.
Step 2 — Add a New Address
Click + New Address.
Step 3 — Fill in the Address Details
Fill in the same fields as the primary address: Address Heading, GST, Google Address, Address Line 1, City, State or Province, Zip or Postal Code, Country.
Give the Address Heading a clear name that identifies the branch (e.g. “Karnataka Office”, “Delhi GST”, “Rajasthan Branch”).
Step 4 — Save the Address
Click Save inside the address panel.
The new address is added to the list below the primary address.
Step 5 — Set as Primary (Optional)
To make this address the default for all documents, click the three dots (⋮) next to the address and select Set as Primary.
Only one address can be Primary at a time. The Primary Address appears on all documents where no specific branch has been tagged to a project.
Part 5: Update Business Overview
On the Company Details page, scroll to the Business Overview section.
| Field | What to Select |
|---|---|
| Avg Business / Year | Your company’s average annual revenue range (e.g. 1cr to 10cr, 10cr to 50cr, 50cr to 100cr) |
| Company Size | Number of employees (e.g. 1 to 20, 20 to 50, 50 to 100, 100 to 200) |
| Construction Type | Type of construction work your company does. Multiple selections allowed. |
Click Save to apply.
Business Overview information is used internally for account profiling. It does not appear on any documents or reports shared with clients.
Tips
- Supported image formats for all uploads (logo, signature, stamp, watermark): JPG and PNG only
- PNG is recommended over JPG for logo and signature uploads because PNG preserves transparency and sharp edges better on printed documents
- After updating company details, download a test document (such as a Sales Invoice or Purchase Order) to confirm the name, address, and logo appear correctly before sharing with clients
- The Address Heading is a label for internal use. It does not print on any document. Use clear names so your team can identify addresses when tagging projects.
- Only the Primary Address appears on documents by default. To use a branch address on a specific project, tag the branch to that project via Project Settings.
- You can add as many company addresses as needed. There is no limit.
